The city of Gretna lies across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans on what many locals call the Best Bank. Orleans Parish-Downtown and Warehouse District LA
The Warehouse District, which adjoins the CBD, has become the focus of major visual arts renaissance in New Orleans, as more painters, sculptors, and photographers mover here to live and work. Thousands of people not only work in the downtown area but live here.
